Location: Harrisonburg, VA 22801
Employment Type: Direct-Hire & Permanent
Setting: Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Center
Pay: $65/hr
Shift: Part-Time | 22 Hours per Week | Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Flexibility with Days Available)
Qualifications:
Required:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Virginia, in good standing.
Ability to work onsite and prepare, dispense, and oversee medications, including pre-pouring take-home doses for patients.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of medication safety, storage, and documentation requirements.
Preferred:
Previous experience in an outpatient pharmacy, addiction treatment center, or behavioral health setting.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medications used to treat Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
Experience maintaining regulatory compliance, medication inventories, and pharmacy procedures.
Job Summary:
Oversee the safe preparation, handling, storage, and dispensing of medications within an outpatient addiction treatment facility.
Prepare and organize take-home medication doses while ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with established protocols.
Maintain accurate medication records, monitor inventory, and ensure appropriate security measures are followed.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to review pharmacy operations, provide medication-related guidance, and support regulatory compliance.
Conduct routine pharmacy reviews, identify opportunities for improvement, and maintain required documentation and reports.
Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment for individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders.
