PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
Location: Horsham PA 19044 - 100% on-site
Payrate: $65.75 or 67.50/hr - based on shift
Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, with alternating weekends
1 st Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
2 nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for safely dispensing medications, supporting medication management and patient counseling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES: Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
Monitor medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
Counsel patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
Provide medication consultations and answer patient questions.
Provide patient services such as blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
Compound medications for external or internal use and prepare sterile solutions according to established procedures.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy staff.
Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other members of the healthcare team.
Ensure pharmacy activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and established procedures.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS : Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
Current state pharmacist license required.
Availability for the Monday-Friday schedule and alternating weekends.
