nWorks cooperatively with other health care team members to provide pharmacy component of patient care services. Supervises distribution of pharmaceuticals to patients and provides information to promote the safe and effective use of these agents. Provides pharmacokinetic, antibiotic, and parenteral nutrition consults to physicians on request. Acts as a shift supervisor for Pharmacy Technicians. Performs additional responsibilities as requested. Provides oversight of pharmacy information systems, and implements changes and upgrades to the automated medication dispensing system. na
