Job description
Join a rapidly expanding GLP-1 mail-order compounding pharmacy serving 37 states, located in Athens, Ohio. This opportunity offers flexibility for part-time or full-time pharmacists who prefer a role focused on prescription verification within a mail-order environment. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive with minimal direct patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
Maintain adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and guidelines
Oversee the dispensing workflow to support timely and accurate order fulfillment
Keep detailed documentation and uphold quality assurance protocols
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative licensure history
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced mail order pharmacy setting
Previous verification experience preferred but not required
New graduates welcome with a minimum 1-year commitment; client covers licensure costs
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Flexible scheduling available within operational hours for both part-time and full-time roles
