Job description
An opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support specialty pharmacy services in a long-term care setting. This 13+ week contract role is based in Bemidji, MN, and offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with some weekend hours.
Location: Bemidji, MN
Setting: Specialty Pharmacy - Long Term Care
Duration: 13+ weeks
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Some weekends required
Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive long-term care pharmacy duties including medication management and review
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper medication therapy for patients
Manage specialty medications and provide clinical expertise in this area
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
Provide patient counseling and support immunization efforts
Desired Qualifications: PharmD or MTM certification preferred
Immunization Certification required
CPR Certification required
Demonstrated experience in specialty pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy settings
Strong communication skills and commitment to patient safety
