Job description
Seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a hospital setting with a dynamic schedule designed for work-life balance. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional ready to contribute to patient care while working in an engaging environment.
Location:
Bullhead City, AZ
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
Shifts of 10 to 12 hours
Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekends: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Key Responsibilities: Order verification ensuring accuracy and safety
Supervising pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow
Consulting with physicians and nurses on medication management
Managing pharmacokinetics assessments to improve patient outcomes
Utilizing MedHost EMR effectively for documentation and communication
Qualifications and Experience: Must hold a valid Arizona pharmacist license
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Previous hospital pharmacy experience essential
IV certification with hands-on experience in sterile compounding and IV medication administration
This position is a contract role suited for pharmacists who are comfortable adapting to a travel assignment and thrive in a hospital pharmacy environment. Immediate start availability is preferred.
