Job description
This opportunity is for a pharmacy professional to serve in a Specialty Pharmacy setting, providing essential Long Term Care Pharmacist services. The role is based in Bemidji, MN, offering a structured schedule with some weekend hours, ideal for those seeking consistent daytime hours with a slight weekend commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee long term care pharmacy operations.
Ensure accurate dispensing and counseling tailored to long term care patients.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Participate in immunization initiatives and patient education programs as applicable.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Pharmacist licensed to practice in the state.
Immunization Certification required.
CPR Certification mandatory.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred.
Proven experience in long term care pharmacy services is a strong advantage.
Location: Bemidji, MN
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
