Job description
Provide leadership and oversight as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a well-established retail pharmacy during a 6-8 week interim contract period. This role offers the opportunity to manage pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations while working alongside an experienced technician team.

Reno, NV
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, assuming full PIC responsibilities in accordance with state regulations.
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy standards.
Lead and support the experienced pharmacy technician team to maintain efficient workflow and provide excellent patient care.
Manage inventory control, medication dispensing, and regulatory documentation.
Address any operational challenges promptly to maintain smooth pharmacy functions.
Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and compliant pharmacy environment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with active Nevada Pharmacist license or ability to transfer license to Nevada Board of Pharmacy.
Prior experience serving as Pharmacist in Charge preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage staff and operations.
Knowledge of retail pharmacy workflow and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to assume PIC responsibilities immediately upon contract start.
