Job description
This opportunity seeks a dedicated Pharmacist In Charge to oversee pharmacy operations with leadership and expertise. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your dynamic leadership skills and pharmaceutical knowledge will be highly valued.
Location: Abilene, TX
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8 AM to 5 PM
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage and lead pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment
Oversee compounding activities, including both sterile and non-sterile preparations
Maintain high standards for medication dispensing accuracy and patient safety
Support continuous improvement initiatives and pharmacy growth strategies
Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Pharmacist in Texas with willingness to obtain additional state licenses over time
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience, with prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge preferred
Proven expertise in compounding, covering both sterile and non-sterile preparations
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
Ambition to grow professionally within the role and contribute to pharmacy development
