Job description
A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist In Charge to oversee daily operations at a retail pharmacy. This direct hire role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced workweek with consistent hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise pharmacy staff in the accurate filling and dispensing of medications.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including adherence to quality standards set by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
Lead and manage pharmacy operations with a strong focus on customer service and efficiency.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance pharmacy workflows.
Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment through vigilant oversight.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support decision-making in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license.
Minimum of two years' experience in retail pharmacy management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
Skilled in gathering and analyzing information to exercise sound and accurate judgment.
