Job description
An interim Pharmacist In Charge position is available for an immediate start in West Sacramento, CA. This contract assignment is expected to last approximately 8-13 weeks, offering the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations within a dynamic retail environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Closed on Sundays
Key Responsibilities: Oversee full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Perform pharmacy opening and closing duties
Complete all required paperwork related to the Pharmacist In Charge role
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience; prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge is highly preferred
Active California pharmacist license in-hand
Current Immunization Certification
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy system
