Job description
An immediate opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to oversee a community center pharmacy in Redding, CA. This full-time contract role offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacy technicians, and collaborate closely with healthcare providers within the center. The assignment will begin promptly, with training scheduled mid to late next week, and is expected to last 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured.
Location: Redding, CA
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations
Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery
Collaborate with center providers to support patient care and medication management
Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Recent retail pharmacy experience is essential
Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and managing pharmacy workflows
Willingness to learn and operate the New Leaf pharmacy management system (training provided)
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively oversee the pharmacy team
Additional Information: Access to strong pharmacy technician support will be provided to assist in daily operations
Immediate start with full-time hours beginning June 29
