Growing together. - - -As a full-time, nonexempt Pharmacist-in-Charge, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring the accuracy of medication orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and safeguarding controlled substances. You'll contribute to a high-performing team by mentoring new staff, maintaining seamless daily operations, and supporting the Director in optimizing pharmacy performance. -Schedule: This full-time, nonexempt position will work 35 hours/week.Pharmacy Hours: The pharmacy utilizes Epic and Omnicell. Pharmacy hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm.Primary Responsibilities: -
* Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracy
* Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patients
* Monitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug events
* Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including DNV, state, and federal requirements -You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: -
* BA/BS degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school -
* Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing -
* Demonstrated proficient computer skills with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office -
* Ability to travel up to 10% -Preferred Qualifications: -
* PharmD degree
* 1+ years of recent acute care inpatient pharmacist experience - -Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 - $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
