Job description
This opportunity is for a Night Pharmacist position based in Chicago, IL, on a 7-on, 7-off schedule. The role is a contract assignment lasting 13 weeks or longer, with a start date as soon as possible. The working hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing an excellent schedule for those who prefer night shifts.
Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, and managing pharmacokinetics. The role requires working with hospital systems such as EPIC and Pyxis, ensuring smooth operations and patient safety during night hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
Previous hospital pharmacy experience
Proficient in EPIC and Pyxis systems
Comfortable and able to work overnight shifts
Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals

9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
