Job description
Support community health as a Staff Pharmacist specializing in flu immunizations through an 8-week, part-time assignment in Medina, OH. This role involves administering flu shots at onsite clinics for local businesses, requiring flexibility to travel to various client sites on both the east and west sides. Hours vary from 2 to 7 per event, 1-2 days per week, with no guaranteed schedule-adapting to weekly client needs.
Responsibilities:
Administer flu vaccinations at multiple business locations
Travel to assigned sites within the region
Adapt to varying schedules, with some weeks busier than others
Maintain compliance with immunization protocols and patient safety guidelines
Utilize Epic system functionality for vaccine documentation
Mandatory Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Ohio (RPH license)
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP degree)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Immunization delivery certification
Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Prior experience administering flu shots
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and sit for the duration of clinics
Perform vaccine administration in various onsite environments
