Job description

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to work full-time in a high-volume central fill pharmacy located onsite in Lawrenceville, GA. This role requires a pharmacist comfortable with fast-paced verification and managing an existing backlog efficiently throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily verification of high prescription volumes with accuracy and speed

Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth workflow

Maintain quality control and compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards

Participate in onsite training alongside current pharmacists to understand specific processes

Adapt to variable scheduling within a 24/7 operation as the role demands

Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Georgia pharmacist license (required)

Maryland pharmacist license is a plus but not mandatory

Experience working in a high-volume, central fill setting preferred

Ability to verify prescriptions at pace and manage backlog efficiently

Previous work with pharmacy teams including pharmacists and technicians, preferably in final verification roles

Candidates should be prepared to discuss recent employment history, including any gaps longer than 2-3 months, and demonstrate knowledge of working in a similar environment

Must be available for a 2-hour onsite interview with the pharmacy team in Lawrenceville, GA

Schedule and Location: Initial training includes a minimum of 15 hours shadowing shifts between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm

Following training, 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options within a 24/7 window

Opportunities to work additional hours if desired

Onsite work required at Lawrenceville, GA location
