Job description
This opportunity is for an outpatient pharmacist based in the St. Croix Falls, WI area, with a contract position available. The role focuses on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within an outpatient setting, ensuring patients receive accurate medication dispensing and counseling.
Location: St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and safety standards.
Provide patient education on medication usage, side effects, and proper storage.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions.
Participate in quality assurance programs and pharmacy operations improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice in Wisconsin.
Experience in an outpatient pharmacy environment is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of prescription medications, drug interactions, and patient care procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient consultation.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
