Job description
This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a pharmacist to play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient pharmacy operations. Located in Philadelphia, PA, this contract role operates Monday through Friday with a 10 am to 6 pm shift, providing a consistent schedule for work-life balance.
Responsibilities include:
Performing primary verifications on prescriptions
Assisting with the management of fulfillment staff and overseeing pharmacy operations during each shift
Supporting prescription shipping and order processing as needed
Ensuring all prescriptions are accurately prepared, fully documented, and compliant with relevant regulations
Applicants should have: At least 1 year of experience in retail or closed-door pharmacy settings
A clear and active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Willingness to learn and use the Personal Med system (training provided for those familiar with similar platforms like PK)
System Experience: Personal Med (training provided)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
