Job description
A Clinical IV Pharmacist opportunity is available in Trumann, AR, offering a contract-to-hire position with a 3-6 month initial term. This role is designed for a pharmacist with experience in intravenous (IV) therapy who is ready to contribute to patient care with strong clinical expertise and flexibility.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Every third weekend
Responsibilities: Verify IV medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room environment as needed
Perform clinical duties including reading and interpreting lab results
Assist collaboratively within the pharmacy team and support where necessary to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
Qualifications: Minimum of one year current experience as an IV pharmacist
Active, clear Arkansas pharmacist license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening without issues
Strong clinical skills, particularly in interpreting laboratory data
Adaptability to help in various pharmacy functions as needed
