Job description
A specialty pharmacy in Walker, MN is seeking a Pharmacist to provide a blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy services. This contract assignment offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in both settings while supporting patient care in a dynamic environment.
Location:
Walker, Minnesota
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Rotating weekends
Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for retail customers
Manage long-term care pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance and quality
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes
Maintain proper documentation and inventory control
Qualifications: Active Minnesota Pharmacist License
Recent experience practicing as a pharmacist in retail and/or long-term care settings
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
