Job description
Provide critical overnight pharmaceutical care at a 200-bed community hospital in West Palm Beach, FL, with a rewarding 13-week contract opportunity. This role involves working on a 7-on, 7-off schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, offering a consistent and balanced work-life rhythm ideal for night shift pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification to ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
Manage pharmacokinetics monitoring and adjustments to optimize patient therapy.
Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical consultation.
Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for accurate medication management and documentation.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Active Florida pharmacist license.
Proven experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings.
Comfortable and willing to work night shifts.
Strong clinical knowledge and teamwork skills.
