Job description
This opportunity is for a Pharmacist role supporting a 250-bed hospital located in Marshfield, WI. The assignment will begin as soon as possible, with a duration of 13 weeks or longer. The schedule follows a 7-on, 7-off rotation alternating between the 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM), typically starting midweek on Wednesday.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and safely in a hospital setting
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
Comfortable working rotating shifts, including nights
Proficient with electronic medication records, particularly Cerner and Omnicell
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
