Pharmacist
Schedule
7 days on, 7 days off, Night shift: 8:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Thursday through Thursday.
Assignment Details
Operates as the sole Pharmacist in the hospital during the night with pharmacy technician support.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Pharm D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
Valid Pharmacy License in good standing in the state.
One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Provides pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the quality and safety of medication use.
Monitors patient medication therapy for appropriateness and effectiveness.
Communicates drug information to patients and healthcare providers.
Participates in drug therapy management during medical emergencies.
Coordinates pharmacy technician activities to meet departmental needs.
