Inpatient Pharmacist

Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
Support safe and effective medication therapy for hospitalized patients
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams on medication-related decisions
Monitor for drug interactions, dosing concerns, and medication safety issues
Provide drug information and clinical support to patient care teams
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and quality standards
Document pharmacy activities within the electronic medical record
Requirements
Active Pharmacist license in state of practice
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient environment
