Pharmacist
Pay Information:
$60.50 - $78.91 per hour
$10/hr evening differential
$20k sign-on bonus
Weekend Differential is $1/hr
Up to $5k in relocation reimbursement (must be applicable)
What You'll Do:
Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for assigned patient care areas
Review and verify medication orders to ensure safe, accurate, and appropriate therapy
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams on patient care decisions
Complete pharmacotherapy consults and provide medication-related recommendations
Educate patients and caregivers on medication therapies and treatment plans
Respond to code blue events and other clinical emergencies as needed
Perform medication chart reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and improved outcomes
Support pharmacy operations through order verification, drug distribution, and IV room product verification
Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians during daily departmental operations
Contribute to medication safety, quality improvement, and process enhancement initiatives
Participate in department and hospital committees
Support the development of future pharmacy professionals through student precepting and mentoring opportunities
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in Indiana and Kentucky
Ability to obtain required licensure within 45 days of employment
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based patient care
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Commitment to patient safety, service excellence, and continuous learning
Preferred:
Previous hospital pharmacy experience
Advanced certifications such as BCPS, BCOP, or other relevant specialty credentials
Interest in clinical practice advancement, quality improvement, and professional development
