Job description
We are partnering with a local client in Palmetto, FL to find a licensed pharmacist for a full-time position in a long-term care facility. In this role you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and compassionate distribution of medications to individuals managing a range of physical and mental health conditions. Minimum Requirements:
Must have FL State Pharmacist License to Apply.
Pharmacist experience preferred. Client accepts candidates without prior LTC experience.
Strong prioritization and multitasking skills required to manage workflow tied to delivery schedules and rejected claims for ALF residents.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to engage in training. Candidate must be motivated and ask questions during onboarding.
Experience in retail pharmacy viewed favorably.
Management or supervisory experience is a plus.
Schedule Details:
Standard model: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week.
After training, clinicians join a rotating weekend/on-call schedule approximately every 3rd week.
Weekend coverage totals 10 hours. Typical weekend hours: Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Sunday 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Weekend rotation week typically includes 3 weekday shifts plus Saturday/Sunday coverage. Non-weekend rotation week typically includes 4 weekday 10-hour shifts.
Weekly schedules vary based on pharmacy operational needs. Weekday assignments are evolving due to staffing model adjustments.
Compensation Note:
Target annual compensation for current staff pharmacists is approximately $123,000. No formal salary guarantee is provided by the client.
