Pay: $3,868.80 per week
Shifts: Varying day or evening shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours). Options: 7AM-3:30PM, 8AM-4:30PM, 1PM-9PM, 2PM-10PM, 7AM-5PM, 11AM-9PM, 12 noon-10PM, 7AM-7PM, 8AM-8PM.
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional specializing in pharmacy, particularly with experience in ICU, cardiac cath lab, emergency departments, and orthopedic surgeries. Successful candidates will work in various hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request according to established policies and protocols.
Interpret verbal and written drug orders and transcribe/verify into computerized patient medication records accurately.
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products.
Issue controlled substances to patient care areas and maintain records as required by law and institutional policies.
Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel and verify daily activities of pharmacy technicians.
Provide ambulatory pharmaceutical care services and manage patient drug therapy using approved protocols.
Participate in clinical duties such as anticoagulation management and discharge medication reconciliation.
Monitor drug therapy regimens and assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and renal drug dosing.
Requirements of the Pharmacist Pharmacy state licensure required (LA license required)
BLS via AHA required
ACLS via AHA preferred
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required
Hospital experience preferred
