Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a travel assignment in the diverse environment of Longview, TX. This role focuses on pharmacists filling orders, monitoring therapies, and providing drug information with an emphasis on pharmacokinetic dosing and neonatal medication knowledge in emergency medicine settings.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request according to established protocols
Interpret and verify drug orders into computerized patient records
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately, including both non-sterile and sterile products
Manage controlled substances and maintain records per institutional policies
Engage in pharmacist support roles like anticoagulation management and clinical consultations
Report and document adverse drug reactions promptly
Participate in quality improvement and medication review activities
Requirements of the Pharmacist Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required
Pharmacy TX state licensure required
BLS or ACLS certification is required (AHA only)
Hospital experience preferred
Epic experience highly preferred
