Job description
A well-established community health center pharmacy in Madera, CA, is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide full-time coverage on a contract basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital healthcare setting supporting community needs.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with experienced pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
Utilize the Rx30 system for prescription processing and inventory management.
Provide knowledgeable counseling to patients regarding medication use and safety.
Maintain precise records and assist in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications: Current pharmacist licensure with recent retail or community pharmacy experience.
Proficiency in using pharmacy management software, preferably Rx30.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This contract position starts as soon as possible with an initial duration of four weeks and potential extension based on operational needs.
