Job description
A well-established, closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy serving nursing homes in Topeka, KS is seeking one Staff Pharmacist to join their dedicated team. This pharmacy processes between prescriptions daily and supports a robust staff of over 50 employees, providing a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Schedule and Location:
Thursdays and Fridays
Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Location: Meriden, KS
Key Responsibilities: Perform Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conduct cycle checking to maintain medication integrity
Verify prescriptions and oversee dispensing processes
Qualifications: Active Kansas Pharmacist License required
Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience preferred; LTC experience a plus, but new graduates and retail pharmacy backgrounds will be considered
Ability to start immediately is essential
