Job description
A 13-week contract opportunity for a travel pharmacist is available at a 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic inpatient setting, supporting pharmacy operations for a well-established facility.
Schedule and Location:
Located in Mishawaka, IN
Work schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, second shift (1:00 pm to 10:30 pm)
Possibility of a 7-on/7-off schedule based on facility needs
Responsibilities: Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and quality control
Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize medication therapy
Participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments
Support inpatient pharmacy activities ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana is required
Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
