Job description
Join a dynamic mail-order compounding pharmacy specializing in GLP-1 products, serving 37 states with continued growth. This role offers a unique opportunity for a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) to focus on prescription verification within a supportive, flexible environment in Athens, Ohio. The position accommodates both part-time and full-time schedules based on your preference, making it ideal for pharmacists looking for a verification-centered role with limited direct patient interaction.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Oversee the dispensing workflow in a mail-order pharmacy setting
Keep precise documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to facilitate timely order fulfillment
Qualifications: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
No history of negative licensure actions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a mail-order pharmacy environment
Verification experience preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply with a commitment of one year
New grads will receive licensure support by the employer
Location: Athens, Ohio
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Flexible part-time or full-time scheduling available within operating hours
