Pharmacist - Southern Indiana
nLocation: New Albany, IN
nSchedule: Full-Time
nSetting: Community/Retail Pharmacy
nWe are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a well-established community pharmacy team in New Albany, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing high-quality clinical care, and working alongside an experienced pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail environment.
nWhat You'll Do
nnnProvide professional pharmacy services and ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely
n
nnCounsel patients on medications, proper use, potential interactions, and general health concerns
n
nnAdminister immunizations and support other clinical pharmacy services
n
nnPerform prospective drug utilization reviews and identify potential medication-related concerns
n
nnMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
n
nnCollaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
n
nnOversee and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy team members
n
nnMaintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
n
nnAssist with inventory management and controlled-substance procedures
n
nnDeliver a high level of patient service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
n
n nQualifications
nnnBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
n
nnActive Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing
n
nnAbility to obtain and maintain required immunization credentials
n
nnCurrent or ability to obtain CPR certification
n
nnStrong patient counseling and communication skills
n
nnAbility to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment
n
nnStrong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
