Job description
A community hospital in a northern suburb of New York City seeks a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity starting ASAP. This 100-bed facility offers a dynamic environment where you will play a vital role in supporting clinical and operational pharmacy functions.
Location:
Northern suburb of New York City
Schedule: Variable days and afternoons
Key Responsibilities: Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
Consult with physicians on medication therapies and adjustments
Provide expertise in pharmacokinetics and dose optimization
Qualifications: New York State pharmacist license required
Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
Strong communication skills and professional attitude
