nWe're seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy team dedicated to delivering safe, accurate, and patient-focused medication services. nWhat You'll Do
nnnVerify and dispense prescription medications while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

nnEvaluate medication orders for appropriateness, completeness, and potential concerns before dispensing.
n
nnSupport and guide pharmacy technicians through preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing activities.
n
nnParticipate in quality assurance initiatives designed to maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
n
nnMonitor and maintain controlled substance inventory, storage, and documentation requirements.
n
nnEnsure medications and pharmaceutical waste are handled and disposed of according to established safety guidelines.
n
nnUtilize pharmacy software systems to accurately review prescriptions, patient information, and medication records.
n
nnAssist in maintaining inventory integrity and workflow efficiency throughout daily operations.
n
nnServe as a resource for pharmacy interns, technicians, and healthcare staff regarding medications and pharmacy best practices.
n
nnCollaborate with team members across departments to support exceptional patient outcomes and operational excellence.
n
nnContribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

n nQualifications
nRequired
nnnDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
n
nnActive Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing.
n
nnStrong understanding of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
n
nnExcellent attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
n
n nPreferred
nnnPrevious pharmacist experience in retail, specialty, hospital, compounding, or clinical settings.
n
nnSterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience.
n
nnAdditional state pharmacist licenses.
n
nnExperience supervising or mentoring pharmacy technicians.
n
nnComfortable working with pharmacy technology platforms and electronic documentation systems.

nThis is a Contract position based out of Nicholasville, KY.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $61.00 - $66.00/hr.
nIndividual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
