Job description
A community health center pharmacy in Orange Cove, CA, is urgently seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide full-time coverage. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-managed pharmacy serving the community, utilizing Rx30 pharmacy software.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Contract Details: Immediate start
Initial 4-week duration with potential for extension
Responsibilities: Accurately dispensing medications within a community health center setting
Collaborating effectively with experienced pharmacy technicians
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and center policies
Utilizing Rx30 system for prescription processing and management
Providing excellent patient care and counseling on medication use
Qualifications: Current pharmacist licensure
Recent experience in retail or community pharmacy environments
Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Rx30
Strong communication and organizational skills
This contract role requires a pharmacist ready to step in quickly and maintain smooth pharmacy operations. Candidates flexible to start immediately and interested in an engaging community health setting are encouraged to apply.
