Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide safe, effective medication therapy for patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will verify, compound, and dispense medications; review physician orders; and monitor drug therapies to optimize outcomes and prevent adverse events. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists, provide drug information and patient counseling, support antimicrobial stewardship, and ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies. You’ll also participate in quality improvement, maintain accurate records, and help train and mentor pharmacy staff.
