Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Hospital Pharmacist!
Unit: Inpatient Pharmacy
Shift: DAYS - 8HR: 7A-3:30P and 8A-4:30P ROTATING
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Mon-Fri with one weekend a month
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Role Involves: Order verification to ensure patient safety
Conducting thorough patient medication reviews
Performing detailed medication reconciliation
Providing discharge medication counseling
Managing day-to-day operational tasks in the main pharmacy
No IV compounding required
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the hospital pharmacy field
2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
Required License and Certifications: BS Pharm or PharmD with NY state RPh
Miscellaneous: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
