nBentley Pharmacy in Bronx is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. We are looking for a professional who can dispense medications accurately, provide excellent pharmaceutical care, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. nKey Responsibilities:
nn Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
n Patient Counseling: Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
n Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
n Controlled Substances Management: Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.
n Staff Training: Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
n Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.
n Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
n Insurance Processing: Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
n Customer Service: Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
n nJob Requirements:
nn Must Have: A valid state required pharmacist license
n Must Have: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
n Preferred: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
n nSkills:
nn Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
n Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.
n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
n Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
n Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nn Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
n Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures.
n Proven track record of effectively managing a pharmacy team.
