Job description
A healthcare facility in Willits, CA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 16-week contract position in their outpatient pharmacy, attached to a hospital setting. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience looking to contribute to patient care through medication management and counseling.

Schedule: Day shifts
Responsibilities: Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications to ensure safe and effective use
Utilize Cerner electronic health records system for prescription processing and documentation
Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current California Pharmacist License required
Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
Familiarity with Cerner software is beneficial
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Ability to work independently and lead pharmacy technicians effectively
Reasonable compensation expectations
