Job description
Overview
Under general supervision, performs the full scope of duties associated with professional pharmacy practice and is empowered to use judgment in decision‑making within their sphere of activity.
This is a part‑time position. Hours are 10:30 am to 7 pm (weekdays) or 8:30 am to 4 pm (weekends), three days a week, every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or Doctor of Pharmacy).
Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration is required.
Minimum three years’ experience as a pharmacist in Hospital Pharmacy with accepted standards of practice.
Requirements
PharmD or MS degree and/or completion of a Pharmacy Residency Program may be used as a substitute for some experience.
Maintains professional competence through participation in continuing education programs and review of periodical literature.
Maintains and provides proof of 15 Continuing Education credits each year.
