nThe Retail Pharmacist performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work in retail settings such as a pharmacies located within a drugstore, grocery store, or as a standalone in a community. The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy, filling prescriptions and advising patients on how to use their medications. The Retail Pharmacist provides information and advice regarding drug interactions and potential side effects as well as analyzing prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions. The Retail Pharmacist works to inventory and order prescription medications, over-the-counter medications and non-medication pharmacy stock.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnCurrent registration and/or license as a Pharmacist in stateof practice required

nnOne (1) year of experience working as a licensed pharmacistpreferred
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
