Job description
This position is for a Pharmacist role within a busy hospital environment located in San Francisco, CA. The assignment is a contract position lasting 13 weeks or longer, with an ASAP start date.
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons
Mostly 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities include: Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
Utilizing electronic systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid California Pharmacist license is preferred
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
