Job description
An immediate opening is available for a full-time pharmacist to provide critical coverage at a busy community health center pharmacy. This contract position requires a candidate with recent retail or community pharmacy experience to step in urgently and maintain smooth pharmacy operations.
Location: Sanger, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Duration: 4 weeks with potential to extend
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently using the Rx30 system
Provide excellent patient care and counseling
Collaborate with experienced pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain adherence to pharmacy regulations and safety standards
Manage inventory and assist with prescription processing to support community health center needs
Desired Qualifications: Valid pharmacist license with recent retail or community pharmacy practice
Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy management software
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and patient service skills
Attention to detail and adherence to compliance and safety protocols
This role is critical for ensuring uninterrupted service in a well-run pharmacy setting with a strong team of technicians. Successful candidates should be ready to start as soon as possible and contribute positively to patient care.
