Job description
A Pharmacist opportunity is available in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)/Rehabilitation hospital setting in downtown Los Angeles, located near Dodger Stadium. This role involves supporting a patient population with complex care needs, including many on ventilators.
Responsibilities include:
Order verification ensuring accuracy and safety of medication orders
Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
Consulting with physicians and healthcare teams on pharmacotherapy decisions
Performing pharmacokinetic evaluations and dose adjustments
Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
Qualifications: Active California pharmacist license
Experience in inpatient pharmacy practice
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Local candidates preferred for quick onboarding
This position is offered on a month-to-month contract basis, with an immediate start targeted for the week of June 1st.
