Job description
A specialized pharmacist role is available to enhance the operations within a specialty/oncology infusion pharmacy setting. This position involves a variety of clinical and supervisory responsibilities aimed at ensuring the highest quality in medication distribution and safety.
Location: Bellevue, WA (suburb of Seattle)
Type: Contract (16+ weeks)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Day shifts
Key Responsibilities: Verify orders using Epic software with accuracy and attention to detail
Conduct final product verification checks to maintain safety and compliance
Provide expert answers to clinical questions and drug information inquiries
Oversee pharmacy technician activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and efficiency
Support distribution processes within the specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy
Float to Seattle location as needed to support pharmacy operations
Qualifications / Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Washington
Experience working in infusion or oncology pharmacy settings preferred
Proficient with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems
Solid understanding of USP 797 and 800 standards related to sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling
