Job description
An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in Seattle, WA. This 16-week contract role offers a unique schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, specifically from approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with potential for temp-to-hire.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct order verification using Epic to ensure accuracy and safety
Perform final product verification checks before medication dispensing
Respond to clinical inquiries and provide comprehensive drug information
Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician functions within the inpatient setting
Participate actively in Code Blue and emergency response protocols
Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis effectively for daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications & Experience: Current and valid Washington State pharmacist license
Immediate and full-time availability
Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment is essential
Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems is preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
