nExciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy located in Flower Mound, TX.

nAs a Pharmacist for our Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy, you will have the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals while providing leadership and guidance to supporting staff. Our Pharmacists ensure the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care services, which include drug therapy monitoring, patient education, drug information and chronic disease state management for our clinical programs.

nPrimary Job Duties & Responsibilities
nnnReviews and interprets specialty medication orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and adherence to treatment guidelines.
n
nnEstablishes specialized patient counseling and education on the proper administration, potential side effects, and therapeutic goals of specialty medications.
n
nnConfers with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations and facilitate reimbursement for specialty medications.
n
nnConducts most complex medication assessments, identifying drug interactions, contraindications, and potential medication-related problems specific to specialty medications.
n
nnAssesses patient response to specialty medications, evaluating therapeutic outcomes and adjusting treatment plans.
n
nnEducates healthcare providers on specialty medications, dosing, drug interactions, and alternative therapies.
n
nnIntegrates with the multidisciplinary care teams, providing clinical recommendations and contributing to treatment decisions for patients requiring specialty medications.
n
nnEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols in the handling, storage, and dispensing of specialty medications.
n
nnStays updated on the latest research, guidelines, and advancements in specialty pharmacy practice, incorporating new knowledge into patient care.
n
n nRequired Qualifications
nCurrent Pharmacist License in good standing in State of Texas.
nnnReside in the State of Texas within commutable distance of Flower Mound, TX.
n
nnSix months pharmacy experience.
n
nnSix months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
n
nnAbility to work approximately 75% from home and 25% onsite .
n
n nShift 1: Four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. , with one onsite Saturday every two weeks from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
nShift 2: Monday through Friday on a rotating schedule between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. , with one onsite Friday every two weeks from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
nPreferred Qualifications
nnnLicenses in other states desirable.

nThe typical pay range for this role is:
n$50.48 - $84.62
nThis pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
