Job description
A pharmacy role is available for a licensed Pharmacist in the Stockton area, with the position located in Lodi, CA. This contract assignment begins immediately and runs for at least 13 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals with hospital pharmacy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies.
Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug dosing.
Utilize IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell, with an upcoming transition to EPIC.
Qualifications and Experience: Active California Pharmacist license required.
Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Familiarity with pharmacy IT systems such as Cerner and Omnicell preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: The position is based in Lodi, CA, in proximity to Stockton.
