Shifts: Flexible scheduling with varied start times, as early as 8am and ending as late as 12am
Seven Healthcare are seeking two full-time, Massachusetts-licensed Pharmacists to join a 24-hour pharmacy in Taunton, MA. This is a contract role with potential to extend beyond 60 days, offering flexible scheduling and optional weekends. As a Pharmacist, you will be instrumental in ensuring medication compliance and providing advisory services to patients in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Accept and dispense prescription medications
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law and suitable for patients
Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
Advise patients about medicines, including usage, reactions, and queries
Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medications
Offer services like smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management
Educate patients on handling medical devices
Compound medications for external or internal use
Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
Identify drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare practitioners
Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists
Requirements of the Pharmacist Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Licensed by the state pharmacy board
